A couple radio DJs played a small hoax for April fools where they announced that the water supply contained a potentially dangerous chemical called dihyrogen monoxide which of course is just a more technical name for water.
The reaction was overboard. There was a group dynamic of something like a witchhunt to hang them damn intellectuals. They equated the hoax with something like a terrorist attack, something ignorant, hateful morons do whenever anything happens beyond their appallingly low level of intelligence and deep-seated resentment wells up within them.
None of the response had anything to do with assuring real security. Real security would not be having law-and-order blowhard dumbasses in positions of authority in government, something that is most decidedly not the case in this town in Florida.
How disgusting.
This is a sign of how ignorant and hostile much of America has become.
