DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas: There Is No Crisis on the Border

First of all, Mayorkas knows he is full if shit. Thousands of people rushing the border is a crisis. All the crap the Biden administration has done to unravel Trump’s measures to restrict illegal immigration and asylum scamming are creating a huge draw of illegals now.

But not having strong border security would not be a problem if multiple measures were uniformly in place across the country and strictly enforced: E-Verify for all employers, and a system of residence permits similar to the German Aufenthaltserlaubnis with the restriction that no residence of any kind (rental, ownership of property, etc.) is possible without a valid permit.

In other words, people could come across the border, but they are not allowed to work and they are not allowed to rent nor own property.

Then it would be no problem. These systems should be in place already. The technology to implement them already exists. Already every human on the continent of North America is tracked and identified in multiple ways and in great detail. So to pretend that it would require some kind of exceptional measures to be able to implement these systems is total bullshit.
