A woman who I admire highly had a Zumba studio in a small town in Maine. On the side she would see clients for sex work. Now they have busted her and come down on her hard, forcing her to confess to a bunch of charges and now she may spend a considerable amount of time in jail.
This is so sad and so sick to me. To me, this woman is to be admired. She is someone who has made something out of her life and likes to do sex work. People like here are the lifeblood of a town. Now the resentful, hateful people of her town have ruined her life. By persecuting her they are condemning themselves and destroying the richness of their own worlds which they are too petty to accord for things outside the confines of their fear.
This is just so sick. This woman was a leader and someone to be looked up to. But the American-style witchhunt began and now they’re burning her at the stake for being a healthy, successful, sexual female.
