75-year old bicyclist killed

It is an outrage that collisions between motor vehicles and bicycles are not investigated properly. By failing to do so, law enforcement is condoning murder.

In this story we are asked to believe that at 75-year-old man, who ostensibly would not be an inexperienced rider, just somehow decided to turn left into a truck passing on his left and kill himself. Utter bullshit.

A 75-year-old cyclist died Monday afternoon after he collided with a tree-pruning truck in Burlingame, authorities said.

The cyclist, a Burlingame resident whose name has not been released, was riding south on the 1100 block of Cortez Avenue around 12:15 p.m., said police spokesman Don Shepley. He was riding his bike legally on the right hand side of the roadway, police said. A truck used for tree pruning was traveling in the same direction when the cyclist turned left into the side of the truck, Shepley said.
