Forgiving Student Loan Debt: Another Dagger

They keep sticking in the daggers. The latest is the suggestion/proposal that student loan debt be forgiven.

So let’s get this straight: People who did not go to a university because they could not afford the high cost and therefore made the choice to not go in to debt are going to be punished. Because the government will give taxpayer money to forgive the debt of those who choose to go into debt.

So the people who chose not to go into debt are doubly fucked over: first by not getting a free university degree, and second by subsequently having their career and means of sustenance damaged, all while the government will give taxpayer money to those who chose to go into debt and who now have degrees and higher earnings.

Yeah. That’s really fair.

Fair would be: If they are giving X amount of student debt forgiveness, give 100X amount to those who did not go to university for financial reasons, in order to compensate not just for tuition and living expenses, but also wages lost over their lifetimes.

It’s shocking how evil these people can be.

Then again, maybe not.
