Ending the Age of the Evil Giants

In Internet time an age can be a short time. Even a short time, like ten years, can seem like a really long time in Internet time.

But if there’s one thing I’ve seen since the Beginning Time of the Internet which I’ve been present since, is that the ages come and go. Things change. And I believe we’re due for another major change. The age of the Evil Giants is ending.

The Evil Giants are Google, Facebook, Twitter, and many others. These companies have shown themselves to be evil and extremely anti-American in many ways: not just in terms of their rabid censorship and suppression of dissident speech, but also in their hiring practices in which they’ve shown virtually no allegiance to native US citizens whatsoever.

Right now the creator of Gab.com and his family have been cut off from Visa. To understand how extreme this is. realize that even murderers and rapists are not cut off from Visa.

There is a saying that when things like this happen – when they freakout – it means you’re over the target. Well, gab.com and its free speech forum is over the target. They don’t want dissidents speaking out. It’s not just that they don’t want it on the websites they control and rabidly police (with their armies of low-paid SJW censors), they don’t want it at all.

I’ve seen things come and go. Perhaps one of the best analogies might be the ongoing whack-a-mole game that has been played to suppress file sharing. Remember Napster anyone? Audio Galaxy? Gift?

I’ve seen the file sharing thing go through many different phases, platforms, and technologies. Not only wasn’t it stopped, it’s stronger than ever.

We are literally at war now. Information warfare. The mask is off and we see the extreme measures being taken to suppress our freedom of speech.
