Diversity for Thee and Only Thee

For decades it’s been incessantly pounded into the heads of US citizens how important diversity is. Diversity in the workplace. Diversity in education. Diversity diversity diversity. The people in any institution, public or private, should reflect the racial makeup of the general population. Or so it goes.

Non-diversity is evil. That means always without exception: Too many white people is evil. It never means too many of any other race. Ever.

I’ve been reading comments about the atrocious decision by Trump’s DHS to start allowing US companies to bring 85,000 more H1-B workers during this time of grave national crisis, when literally tens of millions of US citizens are out of work.

The comments, numbering in the thousands, are unanimously angry, dismayed, exacerbated, etc. at what is going on, at the wholesale betrayal of the people of the United States by their corrupt government.

There is story after story of entire departments at companies being replaced by Indians. Mostly Indian males. Indian hiring managers are promoting their own people over US citizens. The situation is dire.

And of course it highlights how the United States is a fucking joke, because when it comes to entire departments now being staffed by foreign Indian males, apparently diversity doesn’t actually mean jack shit after all. Hahaha.
