Not here to be part of American society

Today I went to Chinatown in search of some traditional herbal medicine for cold and also for Corona virus. It was actually said that traditional Chinese medicine is recommended for Corona virus and I’ve used various remedies in the past which were effective. So I thought going down to Chinatown would be a good idea, with all the herb shops.

But you know what? Chinatown is a nasty place. I noticed that the prices of Yin Chiao were all jacked up everywhere I went – the prices were doubled and tripled from what it used to be. And when I asked multiple shop keepers if they recommend anything for Corona not one of them was even able to understand my question! I had to show them a Chinese translation from the Wikipedia page for the Corona virus infection, and still none of them knew anything. Some of them even acted impatient and upset with me. It was outrageous.

And not one of the shopkeepers I met even seemed remotely pleasant. All of them looked at me weird and treated me with suspicion. Not one person was friendly, helpful, nor smiled.

The whole vibe throughout Chinatown was grubby and as the only white there I didn’t feel welcome.

And there’s one overwhelming thing that’s apparent when you’re there: These people aren’t coming to the U.S. to be part of our country. They aren’t coming to be part of American society.

They’re coming to annex territory and establish their own, separate society.

It sickens me and angers me that weak, ignorant, and evil public officials have allowed them to do it. The United States gains absolutely nothing from letting these people in. It is pure loss of sovereignty, loss of territory, loss of power, and loss of control.

And these people coming in don’t respect us for it, they despise us for it. Because they would never do that in their own country.
