The Catastrophic Failure of the West

If some epidemic had occurred which wiped out an entire race of people, or else dramatically reduced the size of its population by tens or hundreds of millions, it would be universally recognized as a terrible, devastating event of catastrophic proportions.

Yet something has occurred to the West, to European peoples across the world, which has done precisely that, and not only is there no full recognition of the vast devastation, there seems to be a lot of triumphalism and self-congratulatory hoopla.

Just looking at what has happened to the West from a very broad perspective – from the level of population dynamics and demographic collapse and replacement on a global scale – clearly something vast and catastrophic has occurred and is still in full gear.

So what is it? What is the nature of this catastrophe, this disease, this horrible affliction which is killing tens of millions of European people and devastating their population globally to a point where they may simply no longer exist?

I do not have a ready answer for this. This is something to think deeply about. What is it?

Looking from a broad perspective it seems to me that it might have something to do with the baby boomer generation and the decades which defined them: the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. It might have to do with the advent and evolution of mass media, which never existed before in human history. Perhaps the damaging effects of all that shit that was incessantly pumped into human populations through television decade after decade is having extremely dire consequences which are not fully understood nor recognized.

If some hypothetical enemy of the West had invented some stealth technology with the capability to wipe out tens of millions of people, to virtually destroy an entire race, and to dramatically weaken and break its societies from within – without ever detonating a bomb or firing one bullet – it would be viewed as an astounding success. If there is such an enemy of the West what it has achieved has been monumental.
