This type of socialism is a form of delusion. It posits the existence of wealth from a productive culture, which it parasitizes, appearing to offer golden promises. But without the productive culture which is ontologicially different, it would never have such wealth to dispense and hence no appeal.
These promises appeal not just to the lower slave classes who have been allowed to immigrate in large numbers to supply labor to the elites, they also appeal to the guilty upper classes.
But this system is a complete failure because it fucks over the middle class.
All you have to do is look at the cities where this type of government has prevailed. They are complete hellholes with no middle class.
In order to maintain even the slightest modicum of some type of middle class for essential things like schoolteachers, they literally have to steal money from taxpayers and have powerball lotteries.
People like Ocasio-Cortez are a symptom of a breakdown of society. In essence they are cancer masquerading as sugar-coated candy.
Illegals and mass immigration are bad for a society and bad for an economy that is based on anything but abject levels of manual and service labor. They’re good for plantations but poison to healthy, vibrant, skilled, highly-technical economies.
