Windows 10 update 1803 font issue

Just installed Windows 10 update 1803 on my systems. The update took longer to install than the upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 did. This size is over 2 GB. It changed privacy settings without warning and added options which I had to go through and disable.

The update changed the fonts on my system and made some so tiny that they were unreadable. Menu fonts, Windows Explorer, and many apps became unusable because the fonts suddenly became extremely tiny.  For an OS upgrade to do this to users is unacceptable.

Using the Winaero Tweaker utility I was able to eventually restore fonts to being readable. Under Advanced Appearance Settings here is how I set the following fonts:

System Font -> Noto Sans (there is no option for font size)
Setting this to default or to many other fonts such as Segoe UI, Tahoma, Verdana, or Arial produced unpleasant results

Titlebar -> set to Segoe UI 10
Icons, Menus, Message Font -> set to Segoe UI 11
Statusbar Font -> set to Segoe UI 12

Be prepared to log off and log back on multiple times and re-check the settings for all the above fonts as they may not stick after being set the first time.
