If I had a lot of money

I would give a lot of it to publishers of computer text books and say please allocate this money as if 5,000 copies of each of these books was purchased. There are a lot of people around the world who cannot afford to purchase computer textbooks and hence will download copies they find online.

I would do the same thing for music companies, especially for classical music and house music. Just give the record labels a really large amount of money and say “Consider this money as having purchased thousands of copies of each of these works.” The same thing applies to music. There are a lot of people who are devoted to different forms of music but can not afford to purchase all the music they want to explore and listen to. If someone had a lot of money they could give it to the record companies and ask them to allocate the money amongst the various artists. By doing this the donator would be helping a lot of people around the world.
