Imagine making a sacrifice: Giving up all forms of music except owning a spinet, and any other acoustic instruments, and of course the voice. That is all you have. The only music is what you or others create with their voices and hands.

One thing that makes me sad – a true loss of our times – is the music playing everywhere you go, in all the stores. It is really disturbing. People don’t even comprehend what they’ve lost – a precious part of themselves – a beautiful sonority that thrives in silence. The ubiquitous music drowns out the sound of life.
