We need to take on and defeat the ruling class

If we are serious about transforming our country – and I hope all of you are serious about transforming our country – if we are serious about rebuilding the American middle class, if we are serious about reinvigorating American democracy, we need to develop a political movement which once again is prepared to take on and defeat a ruling class whose greed is destroying our nation.

This is what I’ve been waiting to hear. This is one of the best speeches I have ever heard. It brings tears to my eyes at many points.

I’m still hoping Donald Trump becomes president of the United States though. Even though it goes against a lot of things, I think USA right now is so messed up that it is going to take something extreme like Donald Trump to get the country out of its mess. And for that to occur I’m willing – to a limited extent – to listen to him say negative things about environmental regulation and making some statements about different immigrant communities which are sometimes insensitive.

America is really seriously rotting and I still believe Donald Trump is the only candidate for president who is really capable of making big changes.

That said, I’m still supporting Bernie Sanders and will continue to make donations and advocate for his campaign.
