Progress should not mean the stepping on, the violating of boundaries in order to determine what not to violate for the sake of greed and profit. People need to follow other models. There are healthy models available if people want to learn them and use them.

I believe that technology can be fundamentally beneficial to human beings, that human beings create hardware and software for beneficial reasons which help people. But the serious danger, the poison lies in impure motivations which are like cancer.

People need to clear themselves of cancer, just like all the junk food, and decide they want to live healthy and pure. Only then will they create things which truly benefit humanity.

Its not rocket science, but here are some of the basic principles:

Don’t lie.
Don’t misrepresent or deceive.
Don’t relate under false pretenses.
Don’t violate.
Don’t invade privacy.
Don’t violate personal boundaries.
Don’t kill.
Take seriously the responsibility of what models you project to the world.
Take life seriously.
Treat everything with reverence.
Don’t be so fixated upon gratification. Be a little bit tough. Make little sacrifices and think about benefiting other beings in the world less fortunate.
Stay pure. Try to follow and love things that are pure. Avoid those which are impure.
