An archaeologist went to China and visited a museum, expecting to find the usual stuff like pottery. But inside there was a room with mummies and, looking at them, he was blown away. They were mummies of a Proto-Indo-European tribe who – unlike most of their kin who went westward from the steppes of Central Asia – instead went far east into what is now China.
These people rode horses and were traders along the Silk Road.
Interestingly, few traces of these people remain today.
