One thing I like about Iceweasel with Debian (currently using the stable distribution “Wheezy”) is that it is 64-bit (if you’re running the 64-bit version of Wheezy).
To me, the buttons do not look as classy and svelte as the Windows version of Firefox, but I’m slowly adjusting to that.
One annoyance which I can’t understand about the Linux version is that the configuration menu is not under Tools->Options but instead under Edit->Preferences. This is actually a legacy thing that goes way, way back to earlier versions. Why it was not changed in the Linux version I do not know. See Menu differences in Windows, Linux, and Mac for more info.
Anyhow, there’s a very easy way to change it to something better: install the addon called Menu Editor. Go into Menu Editor options and switch to Advanced Mode. In the right-hand drop-down combo box select the Edit menu. On the left-hand one select the Tools menu. Drag the Preferences item from the right-hand column into the left-hand one. Now the Preferences menu will be located under Tools which is way better.
