[Above] I just had to include another shot of the amazing interior. This one reveals more details of the columns from an angle looking down near a ceiling fan.

Even if some rich people just built something like this right now it would not have much meaning. Rather than something like this, I would like to see laws created and enforced which protect the basic human right to be free from physiological assault which are desperately needed.

There’s no point visiting a beautiful place like that if one is only going to be exposed to physiological assault on an ongoing basis. Everyone craves luxury and luxuriant surroundings but we have not even come close to establishing a healthy baseline for human life to exist healthily.

I would love to visit a place like this some day, but I would not want it to be an escape from an otherwise horrible reality. That would not be in keeping with the intent.
