The Constitution of the United States is being flagrantly violated and the President and most members of Congress are not only failing to uphold it, they are perpetrating, extending, maintaining, and amplifying fundamental civil rights abuses against the American people and against citizens around the world.
No governmental entity in the United States has the right to know who is communicating with who. They do not have a right to phone records, the type of data that is contained on phone bills, e-mail recipients, IP addresses, and any and all other information regarding correspondence, communication, or other activites of people.
They have failed to respond to the violations. They are refusing to address the fact that the civil rights guaranteed in the US Constitution to every citizen are being flagrantly violated. There is absolutely no excuse for this.
Furthermore, we are told that there exists oversight and that procedures exist to ensure that the “data” is used correctly. Again, let’s be perfectly clear about this, the government has absolutely no right whatsoever to have obtained or to access this “data”. Such access, collection, and storage is illegal and must be immediately stopped. All apparatus which has been created in order to carry out such illegal activites must be immediately and permanently dismantled and removed.
The President and every member of Congress not calling for this should be impeached on grounds of failing to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
It is a known fact that there is extensive law-enforcement monitoring and infiltration of thousands of different groups, some political and many not political. The news is replete with stories of undercover agents who have been revealed or were found out about, having joined groups and masuerading as a member when in fact they were working undercover for law enforcement for the express purpose of monitoring groups carrying out legal activities.
There are hate-mongers in the media, outrageous bigots spewing vitriol against “liberals” and other groups. This is routine.
Yet we are supposed to believe that everything is ok. That the extensive apparatus constructed and operating to methodically collect, monitor, and store private information is not a problem.
Yet there have already been numerouns instances where current or former government employees have been privately hired to work for corporations or other entitites in order to target “liberal” or other groups, hack into their computers, conduct surveillance against them, and engage in deliberate acts to sabotage, damage, or discredit them.
This is the current climate. It is sickening and it is outrageous. The idea that there will be “oversight” over methodical and deliberate civil rights violations is a lie and those who promulgate it must be impeached immediately.
