Vitamin C found to substantially reduce exercise-related bronchoconstriction

I’m one of the people who gets exercise-related bronchoconstriction which I just found out from the article was also previously called “exercise-induced asthma” which is interesting because I always wondered if perhaps I have some carrier gene for asthma as an explanation for why it occurs. It usually occurs after a long run and just feels like a slight tightness in my airways although its not serious.

A new study has found in trials that Vitamin C caused a 48% reduction in forced expiratory volume (FEV1) declines caused by exercise.
